But I don't agree with University President Lee Bollinger's need to take Ahmadinejad to task before the man even took the podium. If you're going to provide a forum for someone, who is by all accounts a "petty and cruel dictator," let him speak. I don't understand his need to interject his own opinions. It seems as though by saying this, he was trying to appease those who thought that Ahmadinejad should not have been invited to speak by publicly villifying him. At best, he looked inhospitable.
